we strongly recommend to purchase an travel insurance. Travel insurance provides you with trip cancellation or interruption, travel delay, medical expenses, emergency assistance, and baggage delay coverage to protect your financial investment.
We recommend you arrive in Cusco 48 hours or more before trek departure as we may need to leave earlier than scheduled in case of strikes or other events out of our control.
Deposit: In order to book, we do need the deposit for all our treks or overnight tours is $250 per person and should be sent to us through PayPal. PayPal does charge a 6 % service fee, so the total deposit per person ends up being $265 per person and should be sent to info@cuscoregion.Once we receive your details and deposit I will send you your booking invoice and confirmation. The deposit is non- refundable or transferable
Personal Details for Booking: Please provide your personal information as it appear in your passport in order to proceed your reservation immediately all your information must be valid. Please advise if you change your passport number after booking the tour (especially for booking the classic Inca Trail).
(Payment of Final Balance): Your balance can be paid in either USD(American dollars) or Peruvian currency, but please make sure that none of the bills are torn or we will not be able to accept them. at least 48 hours prior to tour/trek departure (please advise if you have any delays on arrival).
NOTE: If paying in Peruvian Soles it will be applicable the Exchange Rate of the Day. ( Aprox. 3.85).
Cancellations. Your deposit is 100% non- refundable, The terms of cancelations are defined by how far in advance we are notified of it. No matter the cause, cancelations have different penalties to which you “our customer” agrees to abide. as our out of pocket expenses are non-refundable to us.
In order to receive a student discount, you must tell to our team at time of booking to see if it is applicable to your reservation. there are some requirements in order to valid and accepted, which is regulated by the government.
Permits: Permits for the Inca Trail are in your name and can not be transferred to anyone else under any circumstances. Change of dates is also not possible once a permit has been purchased. Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Hiking trails Peru does not take responsibility for unfavorable weather conditions, natural catastrophe, strikes, accidents, illness, injury, loss of personal ítems, etc. It is the client’s responsibility to carry insurance to cover these types of events. We reserve the right to modify or cancel the program due to any of the unforeseen conditions
